In the Garden

I have been working on this series for a while called In the Garden.  It started out as just a Gallery Show for the Circle Craft Store on Granville Island but when I was invited to be part of the Circle Craft Showcase at Eco Fashion Week it turned into so much more.

My initial inspiration was eight birds.

The Purple Finch

The Robin

Yellow Tailed Flicker

The Gold Finch

Chickadee

Kingfisher

Blue Bird

Only five will be in the show and there were some other additions like the Tree and Bumble Bee and a Ducky.  Really fun way to look at things in a series.

Lately I have been working on a series of birds called In the Garden that was debuted at the Vancouver Eco Fashion Week at the end of April. This show will be showing on Granville Island at the Circle Craft Co-op Gallery at the end of May so if you want this piece buy it before it is gone!!
