Bumble, a Cropped Eleganza

 

Eleganzas are really fun to make, I save all my thrums or scraps from the weaving process that are non-wool and then sew them together in a free motion machine embroidery technique. The result is lace-like but strong material which is very easy to wear.

Many of the thrums for this piece were inherited from a 

knitter who had a whole bunch of samples and

 this is why some of the cotton and silk looks curly.
