Blue Skies Eleganza Wrap



Eleganzas are made from the thrums or weaving scraps
 left over from a wrap or scarf. When I collect enough for
 an Eleganza Scarf, which may be from three or more scarves
 and may take months to acquire. Each Eleganza is therefore
 individual and made one at a time.

This piece has a lace corner and is very textured.

New Perfect Red Eleganza Scarf going up tomorrow!

New Spruce Eleganza Scarf Going Up Tomorrow!


Eleganzas are created from the thrums or scraps left over in my weaving process. What a shame to throw away any beautiful colours and textures!! I just free motion machine embroider them into a wonderful lacy scarf.

Dimensions: 10" wide and 62" long.


The thrums for this piece are from the wraps called Olive and Spruce.

Watercolour Embroidery on Linen

Explore exciting and easy ways of combining watercolour and embroidery.  During the forst part of the class you will create a landscape on linen through a series of directed and practical exercises focused on exploration of the world of colour.  On this landscape you will apply traditional embroidery techniques (french knots and hedgework), in a non traditional way, to enhance the story of your watercolour.

Jackson Pollock
