Spring II, a Short Wrap

Spring is that time of year when the soil is rich and ready to grow and you 

can maybe see those tiny little green shoots just starting to put through the surface.

This style is my new Short Wrap and is the same width as the Narrow Wrap but shorter in length.

Tundra is spelled out with the rare wine coloured scrabble tiles.  Only second hand scrabble games are used.  They represent the title on each wrap, as the wraps are paintings with textiles.

New Felt by Hand Earrings going up on etsy tomorrow

 This pair of earrings is made of sterling silver, freshwater pearls and wool.  I felt the fluff by hand into sweet little wool pearls and then make each pair of earrings unique by adding little bits of sparkle and weight.

This is an example of what the earrings look like on my friend Fernanda, just imagine yours in white and a little bit longer!!

 Every bit of fluff is collected after felting a wrap and then hand-felted into these beads.

 They are soft and cozy and some have little natural material beads for weight and sparkle.
